To celebrate Record Store day, I wanted to do something a bit different and just a little bit special too.
Luckily Tim, from "The Manacles Of Acid", had been thinking the exact same thing, and so we met, we talked.
[At this point Im going to say if you don't know who "The Manacles Of Acid" are, thats OK, but Im afraid you're an idiot. Quickly go here to catch up on something your life should have already had before now:

After instantly bonding over a coffee (his the straight talking Flat White, mine the more flamboyant Vanilla Latte) we discussed plans of how, together, we could change unpopular underground localised music for ever.
The plan was simple:
Robots With Souls to provide some filthy bass noise. Manacles Of Acid to provide the analogue synths. Then to bring these two elements together, as if in some sort of disgusting audible brawl.
The track sounds INCREDIBLE, obviously.
But thats not all….
No Sir, our coffee choices enabled us to think further & deeper into this plan than we would have been able to if we were limited to the use of our normal brains.
And so to make it truly "special", its going to be on a Cassette Tape, with every tape completely unique with hand made custom designs.
In short, we took some old tapes, gave them a new lease of life, altered / bettered the artwork, and the result is a limited number of custom one-off tapes.
If your not a hipster, or you don't care for tapes anymore, then don't worry. Every cassette comes with a download code to be able to retrieve the song from the inter web facility.
******There are only 14 tapes. EVER ******
They will be exclusively available from the Oxford Truck Store on Record Store Day, 21st April.
If for some bizarre reason they don't all sell in minutes of the shop opening, they will also be available at the Cellar during the after party gig as well. But once they're gone, they are gone. So if you want these little puppies you will have to do it the old fashioned way, and get off you personal computer fun machine and get to the Truck shop, or come see me at the cellar.
